Friday April 28, 9:30 PM Shabbat Dinner
Theme:"Shabbat Gifts From The East"
at the Ayurveda Cafe
706 Amsterdam Ave. & 94th St., NYC
* Message from Theo: Beautiful things are happening at Essencedating.com, community is growing in a Loving way, and
opening. I Theo and my good Friend Elyakeem want to bring Jews together that observe differently but who's spirit and spiritual
search are similar. On a typical Shabbat there are thousands of Jews on the Upper Westside celebrating Shabbat. We all know
this, we see each other in the streets and yet we don't know each other. Elyakeem and myself want to try and help to change that
so we are arranging this Friday night Shabbat dinner.
* Rabbi David Ingber of the newly formed Kehillat Romemu www.Romemu.org will share some Torah with us.
* Shoshana Jedwab the amazing percussionist of the JCC Makom Drum Circle will teach us some Eastern
rhythms (on our knees and tables) & some discoveries from Indian Sufi master and musician Hazrat Inayat Khan
(1882-1927) on the divine nature of music and sound. "What makes us feel drawn to music is that our whole being is
music: our mind, our body...all...is music." "Music...is nothing less than the picture of the Beloved." --- Hazrat Inayat
Kahn
* And more...
